Education and Training

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree with honors at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Law attended Emory University, graduating magna cum laude, second in his class of over 100 physicians. - 2. Was it a top tier medical school?
Yes. Emory University is one of the foremost private facilities for medical education in the Southeast. - 3. Did your plastic surgeon receive training from a prominent medical university?
Dr. Law elected to pursue a rigorous, 10 year training program that includes general surgery residency at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California (USC). USC and UCLA are considered two of the most prominent and elite medical universities in the country. - 4. How many years of formal surgical training did they receive?
The minimum requirement for board-certified plastic surgeons is five years of surgical training. Dr. Law’s ten years of training following medical school amount to twice that of some plastic surgeons.
